Triple
Crown Winners - Pitchers
"A pitcher is not a ballplayer." -
Christy Mathewson
The Triple Crown is accomplished by pitchers who lead the league in
wins, ERA and strikeouts. The feat is not as difficult to achieve as it
is for hitters, since the pitching categories are substantially more
correlated than the hitting categories.
